If you arrive by car, then ferryboat is your choice (the journey takes less than 5 hours).
By high-speed boat (catamaran), the journey takes 2 hr. 45 min.
During summer season there is also high-speed boat (catamaran) line connecting Dubrovnik and Ubli (Lastovo island) via Mljet island and Korčula town.
